| 2007-1998 | Michael Steger has his own silversmith workshop, atelier in Adalbertstr. 32 just next to the former cultural center Open Space where he creates exclusive jewellery for private clients, designs Light objects for Berlin Clubs and Cafes (Cafe Stadler) in cooperation with the young Designer Tom de Pascalis, extraordinary accessoirs for fashion designers (latest showings in the Vivienne Westwood`s "best of" defilee 2005 and 2003), does sometimes restaurational works in metal for Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbestitz. |

In the recent years, Michael Steger improves his artistic skills in an ongoing autodidactic process (learning by doing) combined by the advice of his teachers which is since many years his artistic partner Philip Brehse (Theater, Biomechanik), and others like Imre Thormann (Butoh, 2007), Gennadi Bogdanov, Mime Centrum Berlin (Biomechanik/ Meyerholds, 2001-2003, presentation at the Staatsoper unter den Linden and at Theaterhaus Mitte). |
